GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina lacrosse team will welcome the Mercer Bears into Johnson Stadium on Saturday at 12 p.m. The game is free to attend and will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Pirates dropped a heartbreaking 13-10 decision against the nationally-ranked Duke Blue Devils last time out. Despite an early five-goal deficit, the Pirates clawed back and found themselves very much in the game. Ellie Bromley scored four goals while Caroline Kimel notched three goals and an assist but ECU fell just short in the end while showing that they are good enough to play with anyone.

Scouting the Bears
Mercer has gotten off to a strong start on the season. The Bears knocked off Virginia Tech on the road to kick of the year and find themselves 5-2 through seven games after their most recent meeting with No. 8 Florida, a 15-6 loss. Shannon Urey leads the Bears with 25 goals on the year while Erin Degnan has a strong stat line of 15 goals, four assists and 36 draw controls for a team which does well at spreading the wealth wiith five players scoring 10 or more goals on the year.
