GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina lacrosse team will return to Johnson Stadium on Tuesday for a 5 p.m. meeting with the Clemson Tigers. For fans unable to attend, the game will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with Zach Berly and Brittany Hoyt on the call.
Last Time Out
The Pirates dropped another heart-breaker on the road Saturday as they came up one goal short to Cincinnati. Frances Kimel had a career day with eight points on three goals and five assists - the point and assist totals were program records. Brynn Knight came in off the bench to post a phenomenal effort with 11 saves and just five goals allowed to guide the Pirates right back in striking distance.
Scouting the Tigers
Clemson enters the game having a terrific season with an 8-4 record and receiving votes in the ILWomen/IWLCA Poll. The Tigers are led by Claire Bockstie's 50 points on 35 goals and 15 assists while Natalie Shurtleff's 17 assists are a team high, compiling 31 points total. In total, the team has done it by committee this season with six players recording 23-or-more draw controls and seven players posting 15-or-more points. Emily Lamparter has gotten the majority of the work in cage with 100 saves and a .493 save percentage.
