GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina lacrosse team is set for their final home contest of the season as they host the Old Dominion Monarchs on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Johnson Stadium. The game is free to attend and for fans unable to attend the contest will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with Zach Berly and Debbie Taylor on the call.
Last Time Out
The Pirates got behind early, trailing by as many as seven goals in the first half before getting back into the game in the second half. The team got within one but committed a costly turnover with 90 seconds remaining to allow Vanderbilt to run out the remaining clock. Regina Di Chiara and Emily Stratton posted hat tricks in the loss.
Scouting the Commodores
Old Dominion has struggled down the stretch of their season, dropping their last seven contests as they have compiled a 3-11 record with an 0-4 conference mark. Individually, three players have posted 30-plus points with Emma Arnold leading the way with 27 goals and eight assists to go with her team-high draw controls and 22 caused turnovers.

The Pirates and Monarchs have met five times over the years with a 3-2 margin for ECU in the series, including a 7-5 result last season. Ellie Bromley posted a hat trick in the game with Frances Kimel adding a pair of goals while Brynn Knight posted a dominant effort in goal with nine saves and just the five goals allowed.
Record Watch
Frances Kimel has 29 assists on the season, just three away from matching her own program record for a single season. With 28 goals, Erin Gulden is two away from entering the top five in program history for a single season.
Both Alexandra Giacolone and Caroline Meininger have 19 caused turnovers on the year, tied for fifth in ECU history and six off of the program record, held by Giacolone. The duo is also tied for fifth with 31 ground balls, but are a bit further off, 15 away from Giacolone's record of 46 last season.
