XC Heads to Charlottesville for Panorama Farms Invitational

CHARLOTTESVILLE, V.A. – East Carolina cross country heads to Charlottesville, Virginia, this weekend to compete in the Panorama Farms Invitational on October 17, hosted by the University of Virginia. The meet, set for Saturday morning, brings together a competitive mix of programs as the Pirates continue to build momentum through their fall schedule.
The event marks a return to familiar territory for ECU, as the program last competed at Panorama Farms in 2023. That outing saw Erin Pope pace the women's team with a 24th-place finish in the 6K (21:29.5), while Alex Sawyer led the men with a 47th-place finish in the 8K (24:18.9). The Pirate women placed 12th overall, and the men finished 13th.
This will be the final meet before the American Conference Championships on November 1.Â
Women's 6k will start at 9:30 A.M. EST, with the Men's 8k starting right after at 10:20 A.M. EST. You can find more information about the meet at Virginiasports.com.
