
Pirates Welcome Barton, Lynchburg and UNC Asheville For Saturday Meet

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina swimming and diving team remains at Minges Natatorium this Saturday afternoon when the Pirates welcome Barton and Lynchburg in the pool while facing UNC Asheville only in the diving well.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. beginning with the 400-medley relay. The order for the remaining events is as follows; 1000-freestyle, 200-freestyle, 100-backstroke, 100-breaststroke, 200-butterfly, 50-freestyle, diving, 100-freestyle, 200-backstroke, 200-breaststroke, 500-freestyle, 100-butterfly, diving, 400-individual medley and 200-freestyle relay.
ECU is coming off a solid performance on the diving boards last weekend as the Pirates swept both NC State and UNCW in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.
The Pirates' swimmers will return to competition for the first time since the team's dual meet with Liberty back on Oct. 3-4.
