GREENVILLE, N.C. – The ECU lacrosse team returns to Johnson Stadium Thursday night for a 6 p.m. contest against Kennesaw State as the Pirates look to end a two-game slide.
ECU (1-4) is coming off a tough 17-8 loss on the road to Campbell Saturday afternoon. Eight different players scored for the Pirates, including Nicole LeGar and Ally Stanton who have each scored in all five games.
LeGar leads the Pirates with eight goals this season followed by Stanton amd Megan Pallozzi with seven goals each. Casey Sullivan ranks fourth with six goals.
Kennesaw State (0-3) dropped its third straight game to start the season at Marquette, 15-10. 10 days ago. Siena Gore scored four of her team-leading 10 goals this season against the Golden Eagles. She also leads the Owls in points, shots and draw controls.
Following the game against Kennesaw State, ECU will make its way to the Keystone State for a three-game Spring Break road trip with games against Lafayette, Temple and St. Francis (Pa.).
