GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina lacrosse team will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. Saturday for a matchup with the Temple Owls. The game is set for 12 p.m. and will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Pirates fell victim once again to a big run and late goals by an opponent. After a close opening, Florida notched two goals in the final 13 seconds of the first quarter Saturday. ECU leveled the game at three but a 7-0 run by Florida spelled doom for the Pirates. Brynn Knight was a highlight as she recorded a career-high 16 saves, second most in program history.

Scouting the Owls
Temple enters the game on the heels of a dominant win on the road over Old Dominion, 19-5. The Owls controlled the game from the start, leading 7-0 through a quarter, 13-1 through halftime and 17-2 through three. Most impressive may be that no Temple player scored more than three goals in the game while 10 Owls found the back of the net over the course of the game.

Series History
The Pirates at 0-5 in their all-time meetings with the Owls. In the most recent meeting a season ago, the Pirates led by as many as six, but Temple battled back for the five-goal win, 15-10. Leah Bestany led the Pirates with five goals on the day.
