GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina lacrosse team will host the No. 5 James Madison Dukes on Saturday at 12 p.m. in Johnson Stadium. The game is free to attend for fans and will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with Dennis Cox and Debbie Taylor on the call.

Last Time Out
The Pirates dropped a disappointing loss to the Temple Owls on Saturday in Philadelphia. After scoring the game's opening goal, the Pirates trailed the rest of the way. Camryn Pennypacker and Ellie Bromley scored hat tricks, but it was not enough as Temple's Taylor Grollman made 14 saves to prevent ECU from making a true challenge.

Scouting the Dukes
James Madison enters the game on a tear. After losing their season opener to then-No. 1 North Carolina, the fifth-rankd Dukes have run off 15 straight wins including a bevy of victories over ranked opponents. JMU is led by the superlative play of Isabella Peterson who has amassed 82 points on 64 goals to go with 67 draw controls and a fair few ground balls and caused turnovers. Tai Jankowski has contributed 45 goals as well while Rachel Matey leads the Dukes with 69 draw controls and Mairead Durkin has a whopping 40 caused turnovers - good for third in the nation.

Series History
Saturday's game will be the first meeting between the Pirates and Dukes as JMU joins the American as an affiliate member for lacrosse.
