GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina lacrosse team is set to travel to Nashville, Tenn. to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.

Last Time Out
The Pirates fell to No. 10 Florida on Saturday. The Gators led the whole game but it was not one without some high points for the Pirates. Caroline Meininger broke the ECU record with six caused turnovers while Erin Gulden had a career day with three goals, one assist, six ground balls and four draw controls. Meininger also had six ground balls and the duo's ground ball total moves them each into a tie for fourth in a game in program history.

Scouting the Commodores
Vanderbilt dropped a tough one in their last outing to Coastal Carolina, 10-8. The teams were tied entering the fourth quarter before Coastal was able to pull away with a game-winner with 1:09 left and one more to ice it. On the year, five players have recorded 20-plus points for the team while Paige Gunning and Lexie de Roziere have split time in cage with 111 combined saves.

Series History
The Pirates and Commodores have met five times since their first meeting back in 2019. Vanderbilt took the first four meetings but ECU finally got one back last season with a 15-10 victory in Johnson Stadium. Camryn Pennypacker and Sophia LoCicero each posted four goals in the game as the Pirates used a 7-2 third quarter to blow the contest open.
