An Update From AD Jon Gilbert

Pirate Nation:

To say the 2024-25 academic year was a success for our student-athletes would be an understatement. We are proud to share that ECU Athletics achieved a record-breaking All Student-Athlete Annual GPA of 3.33 – the highest in our department's history. This incredible accomplishment speaks volumes about the commitment, dedication, and resilience of our student-athletes.

May was a special month for ECU Athletics as 79 student-athletes graduated, with another eight expected to earn degrees this summer.

This success would not be possible without the unwavering support behind the scenes by individuals that champion academic success and play an important role in shaping our future leaders. Our student-athletes benefit daily from the support of our academic advisors, support staff and coaches. In addition, we are thankful for all our Pirate Club members who invest annually in our Impact Fund so our student-athletes are able to have a world-class experience at ECU.
